Places to Visit in Vietnam
Many people have not considered Vietnam when planning a vacation trip outside the country. If so, you will be missing out on one of the most unique and exciting experiences that you can have. NO country can compare to Vietnam. The culture of Vietnam is distinct and a result of its rich history. The diversity in Vietnam’s geographical features despite its size makes Vietnam a truly beautiful country. Because of this diversity, you can have many different kinds of experiences in a single trip to the country. Below are some famous tourist spots in Vietnam which you should visit when you are there.
An important city of Vietnam is Hanoi which is its capital city. This is where most tourists stay upon arrival. Hanoi is a place which had been greatly influence by French and Chinese cultures and so you can see a mix of both the east and the west in this second largest city of Vietnam. Hanoi is known to having many great museums. It also have great architectural structures and it is known for having a vibrant nightlife.
Formerly Saigon, Ho Chi Ming city is a major tourist attraction and has the biggest population in all of Vietnam. You can find many historical and cultural attractions in the city. Tourists usually visit the Reunification Palace and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Water parks and places where you can simply enjoy the beauty of nature are abundant in this place.
Phan Thiet is a city that draws visitors because has numerous resorts. It is next to Mui Ne, which is a small fishing village that is Vietnam’s most famous beach. The place is full of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues because of the resorts that line up the coastline. There are many activities that you can do in Phan Thiet including kite surfing, sailing, parachuting, and other extreme experiences.
Hoi An used to be a busy port during the 16th and 17th centuries. It has already become a World Heritage Site which is visited by many tourists regularly because it has a distinct culture. In this place there are many museums, landmarks, festivals and events even though it is such a small city.
Another seaside town known for its resorts is Nha Trang. The activities in this place include scuba diving, cruising listening to live music and many other types of entertainment. Here you can find places to shop, visit landmarks and museums.
These are just the most popular places which tourists visit each year, but there are more place to see and more activities to experience in Vietnam than what is discussed above. You can still find a lot of nice places if you tour the length of the small country which is Vietnam.
